    Hi,

I wasnt able to make my LSR on Sunday. I was wondering if people would recommend doing it tonight or just forgetting about it and following this weeks tapering schedule. The LSR was 12 miles (HH Novice) and I have been happy with my LSRs to date.

    Thanks

I'd get it in ASAP if you can this week, ideally tonight. Don't force it, but if you do it tonight it's practically like doing it the weekend just gone. If you don't make it up don't worry, just resume your schedule

I'm in the same boat so I'm doing mine tonight. Nice day for it. Its obviously on your mind since you posted so if you don't run it, it might annoy you more.

Thanks - yeah since its Monday I'll get it in this evening. My evening has just gone from an easy 6 miler to a 12 miler!

Tell me about it. The closer I get to home time, the more I'm dreading it.

Talking of leaving it late, I've 21 planned for tomorrow!!!

Really hadn't planned to be so tardy, but life has not been cooperating lately. Would rather have done it late than not at all.

16 for me, what about yourself? How'd it go? Just finished :D I ran it at a pace slightly faster than marathon pace, which was probably stupid but great for confidence. Very nice evening for it. Proper taper now...feet up.

Figs, good luck with that. Always nice to complete them ones.

    Hey VanBosch

Your following Hal Higdon Novice - how are you finding it?

Supposed to be 18 weeks, but I started late - so approx 15.
Then out sick for a week - so I had to do my longest 20 mile LSR last Saturday.

While a week or 2 late, I'm delighted to have it done, as it has helped my confidence - piece of mind - no end.

So - if you feel for piece of mind, I'd agree with Misty Floyd - it might annoy you more not to do it....:)

I think although I'm behind in the programme - its officially taper down time for me too!!!! :D

Hey, I was to do a 12 miler last night. headed out and felt good so completed the 12 in 1:37 which i was happy with. So delighted I got it done.

I am actually mixing two training schedules the one on the DCM website and the Hal Higdon one. For the last few weeks i am sticking to HH 100%

I find it good - we'll see in 2 weeks how good it is.
