Dying hair from brown to blonde

Hey everyone!!
I was jus wondering if anyone could help me...
My hair was platinum blonde & I dyed it brown.
I'm going to the hairdressers next week and was just wondering if I could go from brown back to blond in one transition. I don't want to end up with orange locks or worse no locks at all...:eek:
If anyone has any advice on this or could recommend a place to go I would be very grateful..

Afaik, it's very easy to dye natural brown hair blonde but it's really, really difficult to lighten hair which has a dark dye in it. The bleach will interact with the dark dye and remove the darker pigments but leave the red.

your defo doing the right thing by getting a professional to do it, i tried it myself and am still suffering the consequences (half brown half black hair LOL) id give house of colour a ring and ask them about prices because they do strip hair but it can be very pricey depending on the type of dye you used and also how long you have been dying. they gave me an estimate of 90-250:eek: sure if your lucky they might be looking for models and you could get it done for free
