I think ASTRA 19E is the better option although there aint much in the difference. Hispasat 30W is focused on the Iberian peninsula whereas 19E is more centrally located to cover europe. I have also found some Digital+ channels missing on 30W that are available on 19E.

According to Lyngsat there's only a 4dB difference from the focal point of the Iberian peninsula to the far west of Ireland.

Basically, you will be able to pick up any of the European signals from Hispasat (which also covers part of the Americas) on 30W with a 50-60cm dish (which is similar to the Sky type 2 dish if I remember correctly). There quite a good few Free channels to watch on this bird...

No problems picking up Hispasat in Limerick but I would recommend a minimum of a 60cm dish.
