Planet X sizing?

Seeing as there seems to be a lot of Planet X owners on here, i was hoping to get some advice on sizing for a Ti Sportive frameset.
I'm 5'7", & according to Planet X themselves, i should go for a small. But, comparing the frame measurements of my existing bikes, the medium is closer in most respects to what i have.
Just wondering if anyone else found themselves going for a different size to what Planet X were recommending?

You are the same height as me. I reckon you should go for the small, I don't have one, well I have a Planet X Stealth but not the road bike, however I have ridden the road bike and reckon that you should get the small as the planet X has quite a sloping geometry...

Its more likely that your current bike is too big !

Scratch that, I didn't spot it was the Ti you were looking at. I'd still say small, but couldn't confirm 100%.

Thanks Quigs Snr, I was fitted for one of my bikes, it's a medium-sized touring bike & it's dimensions are closer to the medium Ti Sportive but don't match exactly.

I'm in the same boat 5'7ish and contemplating getting one of the Planetx Ti frames. Last 2 bikes I had were medium (54) frames and while they were grand I was never 100% comfortable.
Going for a small frame this time, my reasoning being if it's slightly too small I can get a longer stem, add spacers to raise the bar height and raise the saddle to get a perfect fit.
On the other hand if I get the medium frame and after a while it feels a bit big then I'm pretty much stuck
    Good luck with it

I'm 5'8" and have 32" inside leg running 170mm cranks on a 52 Ti Sportive (which is the medium) and I don't have whole lot of seatpost showing so unless you have long legs relative to your upper body I think you may find it a struggle. I should add that I have very inflexible hamstrings and therefore I need a less aggressive position on the bike so if you have excellent flexibility you may well get a long with it but it is very borderline.

However only your know what the extent of the differences are between your current setup versus what your new setup would be.
