    Hey all,

Haven't really been that big into computers for long, so never really went through an OS changeover before, so apologies if this is a silly question.

A friend of mine wants to get two laptops for her son/daughter for Christmas. She has money and wants to get them out of the way.

I was wondering though, When Windows 7 comes out (Oct. 22nd, I think?) will it cost much more for a 7 laptop, rather than a Vista one?

Also, when 7 appears on shelves, is it likely that the cost of Vista laptops will decrease at all?

I'm really just curious, so thought I'd ask.

    Thanks a lot.
