I'd say jumper cables connected to a car battery might be a bit too powerful for your decks there Tiesto...

I feel for you OP! I been there before. Went to 2 petrol stations and even asked about a dozen people sitting in parked cars. Not a hope. Even asked 2 guards in a squad car! Most people dont seem to carry em anymore.

I thought I was mis-reading something - 'What part of D4?' certainly sounded like an offer of help.

It's horrible, but **** happens. You should always have your own jumper cables in the boot of your car. Or at the very least remember to turn your lights off when you get out of the car, that tends to run the battery down. Or maybe invest the €30 in a starter or and alternator.

You posted on an internet forum and 3 mins later on a Saturday morning, someone, a stranger I might add, offered to come and help you.

One response doesn't paint a picture but if it did it'd be a damn nice picture.

How? You asked for help; a user replied with a joke and then what seemed an offer of help.
    You insulted him.

But you still expect people to care?

Get your mobile or a payphone and call 11811, they will tell you where the nearest garage is. Or motor factor.
    or www.goldenpages.ie

Within D4 I'm sure there is one within 20minute walk

Stroll in ask for the loan of jumper cables.
You will be asked for money for a deposit, garages can't afford to give these away.
Maybe your 30 euro will be enough

This tactic has a better chance of working then expecting to get a loan from a random stranger on the internet. :)

You asked for cables so I answered that. I don't know if you have another car to get a charge from

I thought I cared...then I realised it was just early morning apathy creeping in.

Tut tut. Perhaps Tiesto should attach the cables to his personality and jump-start his manners.

And Run_to_da_hills was gonna run back down the hills but was afraid you were going to use the cables to electrocute him from his tinfoil hat.
