I saw it on BBC NI last night - at 11.15pm, I think.

I was really good. The Chris Evans interview was brilliant. He sounds like a man who has been through a lot of therapy.

Well, I was setting something to record and making sure it didn't clash, when I noticed FNWJR wasn't on my Sky planner, and it always is as I have the Series Link set ... I checked the guide & it wasn't there, can't remember what was there instead, snooker I think !!!

    Is it repeated ?

Yeah it is usually repeated on Sat night. What happened was that BBC NI prempted Johnathan Ross with a home produced NI programme and aired Johnathan Ross at 11:15pm.

I know because I flicked over at 10:40 to watch it and there was some NI nonsense on. So I just watched on BBC London through other channels.

I hate when BBC NI bump programmes for rubbish NI productions.

Like the recent "Waking the dead" series, where the Monday episodes were shown at 10.35pm instead of 9pm like the "proper" BBC showed them.

That interview with Evans was awful, 20 minutes of rambling stories about how he turned into an arse and basically went on holiday for half a decade, Jeremy Piven should have been given more time

If you have the England version then what's the problem? I am sure someone in Northern Ireland enjoyed the local programming.

Yeah I agree with this, even when he started interviewing Piven he spent probably half the time talking nonsense to him about his beard and talking to the boyband in the greenroom!

Yeah I thought Jeremy Piven looked a little bewildered when Ross wrapped up the interview. He didn't give him much of a chance to say anything.

noticed that myself. Also he looked absolutely knackered on Soccer AM this morning.

The beard talk wasn't nonscence. There's not enough television time given to beards and beard-centric topics...

I thought it was terrible last night. The giant Malteser was only funny because it broke, the straw bit was dire, the Evans interview was too long and the Piven interview cut short. I turned it off when the boyband came on.

Ross seems to be more yackety yack these days with stupid unfunny bits.

Agree with some comments above. He gave JLS and Chris Evans way too much time and about 5 mins to Piven...he must have been majorly pished off I'd say.

I thought the interview with Evans was brilliant. Think he's a fascinating guy and that came across in the interview last night.
