hostel near lug

Hey,

I'm looking for a hostel near Lug for a group hike I'm organising - the closer the better.

I've tried the Glendaloch International Hostel and they're booked up on the date I need and the Mountain Ventures one is too small for the group (around the 35-37 mark).

Any suggestions?

It's not strictly speaking a hostel but has reasonable B+B rates, evening meals,bar, music etc.

You could also try the IMC hut, they will rent it out to groups. Only did Lug once from Glendaough though, it's a long long day.

Try the Glenmalure hostel. Its pretty much at the base of Lug. Its not the fanciest of hostels but its in a great location.

Some freinds stayed here and highly recommended it, not sure that it is big enough for 35 people though
