Flute Breathy Notes...

    Hi,

I am a flute teacher and have a student at Grade II. She's very good and practices but what I cannot figure out is why do her notes sound so breathy. I can hear the notes but also her breath...

I have corrected her posture (not that there was much wrong with it), have concentrated on where her breath is coming from (i.e. diaphram) and made sure her flute is straight. Nothing seems to work. The lower notes are better than the upper notes.

I have run out of ideas on how to correct her and need help. Can you help?
