    Hi,

Last minute decision to go to Amsterdam...Flights seem very dear. Any ideas on any packages or anything that might work out cheaper.

    Thanks a million.

    Ger

I flew to Eindhoven with Ryanair before and took the train to Amsterdam. This should be about 2 hours on the train, not too dear. Another option might be Düsseldorf Weeze (silly Ryanair name - it is actually about 200m from the Dutch border, nowhere near Düsseldorf). If I remember correctly, Ryanair themselves advertise a bus to Amsterdam from there.
