    Hey Lads,

Wonder can anyone help. What you pick out of this list and why.

Toyota Celica 99 Beams(Dont like the new shape)
Nissan Skyline GT 2.0 non turbo 99
    Nissan Sylvia 99
    Toyota MR2 01(New shape)

Dont really like the levin or the Integra so there my main options. Ill obviously have to drive them and see but any help would be good.

It obviously depends on what you need the car for. Is it just for a bit of fun or will you be commuting in it? And do you regularily take passengers? As the mr2 only has 2 seats!

It will be my full use car. I can live with 2 seats and not much boot room as there will be a second car for practical things. Just want something a bit more fun then getting a normal saloon car.

between the celica and the sylvia then.

yes, scratch it off the list if its non turbo.

only car left standing in my opinion is the celica and its not an out and out raw fun car like an Integra would be, its more of a sporty cruiser type of car. Still they look the business and have plenty of go in them.

The Mr2 would maybe be more fun than the celica with it being rwd but I dunno, if it was an Mr2 I was going for it would have to be the older model

The Silvia gets my vote, get a black one and stick some decent rims on it. But you should try a dc2 integra type r, they really are good.

Okay, first of all you need to decide: what kind of fun you whant out of your car.

you enjoy some messing around and diffing? Then you need an RWD car with LSD.
If you have no interest in diffing, then you can go with any set-up of wheels. But 4wd and FWD will be cheaper.

If your vision of fun, is just to drive around and cruising - take the car which looksand drives ( comfort) in way you will be satisfied.

From all that list i see you talking about non turbo cars. I can bet insurance is having family jewels really tight, been there, know all about it ;).

Celica beams - pure cruiser, loads of comfort, FWD. some people will eat me alive, but i will say it: Beams engines are not 200hp... So many people putted them on RR and had alot alot smaller figures. Maybe from factory they had 200hp, but it seems like they get all ponys lost fester then ather similar engines.

Nissan Skyline (non turbo) - I am a skyline junky since i was a small boy, and sooner or later i iwll have mine own r32 gtst. But i will say this: all 2.0 non turbo skylines should be scrapped. Its like having a pron star with all holes sealed.

Nissan Sylvia( non turbo) - Allmoust same as skyline, BUT! there is a fella with non turbo one, but with a good few aftermarket parts and LSD. And he is having a blast in it! You can mess around and diff in it. Best of all mentioned cars (if got LSD)

MR2 - Cute. Cant say anything about it, as i dont know much, But its amazing car to sit in thought, loved it. you feel like driving a real sport car, amazing cabin.

Now i know you not a fan of hondas ( i am not myself, but i have a huge respect for it), but if you not in to RWD and cruising, it would be your best bet.

I got an online quote form quinn on an S15 Turbo a few weeks ago...

I think it was 1800, which is the same as im paying on an Integra Type R.

For some strange reason they wouldn't quote me on a Non Turbo one though. Im 22, 3 years NCB
