Have a fta system with a fortec star box and dish(65cm i think) that i got in maplin. However dish got moved lately (and growth in a nearby hedge may have blocked signal). Had someone fixing my tv aerial so he had a look. He struggled to get signal and said it will probably have to be moved to the chimney from the side wall but seems to think I would be better off getting a sky dish (i didnt know there was a difference). He was saying they are a different shape and the meshed design would be more suited to the wind at chimney height. Is this advisable or is it nonsense ?

The mesh will have little to no affect on windload, in fact, depending on wind direction, can be worse.

    So I call nonsense.
