I have a 120GB HDD from my old laptop that i want to use for a back drive for my PS3. To be compatible with PS3 i think it needs to be formatted as Fat32. The thing seems to be partioned in 2 roughly equal sections.

how do I format this into a single Fat32 system that I can use to backup?

    thanks in advance

download the free gparted boot CD and format the drive there. I don't think windows vista or 7 will let you do fat32 formatting anymore.
