Looking for a wall mountable LCD for a bedroom. Preferrably 24/26" and would be hoping to spend anywhere between €250 to €350. Would consider as small as a 22" if the price was good.

Also looking to get a surround sound system to go with a Full HD Samsung 32". Not any kind of audiophile so not very fussy about what I get, just want to get most bang for my buck spending under €200 on it.

Anything suitable for either of these?

    Thanks

    Hi Itsdacraic

Have a look at this, its our 26PFL3404 26" LCD TV

Its the perfect size for a bedroom - not too big but not too small

    www.p4c.philips.com/files/2/26pfl3404_12/26pfl3404_12_pss_eng.pdf

Its has plenty of connections for it's size -
    2x HDMI
    2x SCART
Component and Side AV in puts.

Its a HD Ready TV but will accept a 1080p 24Hz input from BR players and the like and will display (downscale them) to the TV's native res.

It's an all round good TV

We have this on offer for €349.99 (reduced from €399.99) at the moment and I should have more in next week.

It has a smaller sibling in the shape of the 22PFL3404 - spec below
    www.p4c.philips.com/files/2/22pfl3404_12/22pfl3404_12_pss_eng.pdf

This shares the same basic features at the 26" version but has less connectivity.

This sells for €299.99 in store but with this set you can deduct your 10% Boardies discount from this TV reducing it to €269.99.

Personally I feel the 26" is the better value of the 2 - nicer screen size but if space is tight the 22" makes a nice alternative.

    Both within you budget thought.

As for 5.1 DVD Systems I think I have the perfect solution for you in the shape of the HTS3020
    www.p4c.philips.com/files/h/hts3020_05/hts3020_05_pss_eng.pdf

This is perfect for smaller rooms and will make watching DVD so much more entertaining.
It will play DVD, CD discs as well as MP3, JPEG and DivX files from USB inputs. Theres even a line in for your mp3 player as well
It's also very easy to set up as well.
Comes in under budget as well at €149.99

How does that sound to you?
    Cheers
    Ash
