    Hi all
Would anybody know if it is possible to receive, via Satellite, Sky channels, NON free to air, on an NON Skybox receiver, like Mvision HD200 for example?
Or can I just insert my Sky card in any non sky device?
Going further, Is it possible to get discovery channels on satellite without passing by Sky? Can one just buy a card from Discovery???
    Many thanks.

Yes, you can receive channels from your valid Sky subscription card in an MVision HD200 Combo directly using the correct software version. Some other receivers can also do the same directly in their card reader. To add it is not all non Sky receivers that are capable of this and it is a software hack as Sky do not intend you to use your card anywhere except in a Sky branded box. Some CAM modules like T-Rex can also decrypt a valid Sky card and this can be used in a wide range of satellite receivers with a common interface slot. Many receivers will not be able to continue to do this with the new white cards with out some further upgrade if at all.
