    Different for each school I think, best thing to do is check your weekly timetable.

    I wouldnt mind a midterm now though. Theyve been piling on the owrk. I need at least a week to catch up on course work, let alone my assessments

    Try two weeks Christmas holidays, then straight through till the end of June with no Easter break, and no reading weeks at all, ever! Grumble grumble...

    Mainly it's for arts students. It gives them a chance to catch up on reading and essays because they have so many lectures :p
