First of all, can we say a huge big happy smiley spun out thanks to all of you that made it down to The Pint last Saturday for our launch party. The night was a resounding success and a great night was had by all, with a superb selection of house and techno being laid down by our residents, who were at the washing machine controls for the whole night.

It doesn't stop there though - as we're on it each and every Saturday @ The Pint, Eden Quay, Dubin 1. So..... you can make amends right away if you didn't manage to spin down to us last week.

This coming Saturday 10 October we'd like to extend a warm yet alpine fresh welcome to three of Dublin's most talented DJs, each with their own completely unique DJing styles:

    Barry Greaves (Automate)
Diggers (Deep Into The Bowels Of House)
    Mark Allton (Up!)

Barry Greaves' sound is best described as deep, dark and heavy, with chinks of understated wonkiness never too far away.

Stepping up after Barry will be Diggers, know for his considered and consumate selection of deep house and tech house, as well as having the abilty to step things up a bit when required.

Wrapping things up for us on the night with a 2 hour set will be the evergreen Mark Allton. Having DJed for the last 16-17 years and been a stalwart of the Dublin scene for at least the last 6-7 years, we expect Mark do dip into the full range of house, techno and disco sounds in his bag - taking us on a journey of sound and then some. Not to be missed!

Kicking proceedings off on the night will be our very own Conky, who will be keeping things 100% deep for the first hour. Just the way we like it :)

On a slightly different note, we would also like to briefly clear things up in relation to some minor issues we had last Saturday - the bar will close at 2:30am this week and not any earlier. There was some confusion last week over a few things but it's all been sorted now. Also, if you are arriving at The Pint any later that 12:30am you will need to use the rear entrance to the venue in the alley behind, as the shutters and doors are closed at the front from this time onwards.

As always, the incredible drinks specials of €4 pints and €8 double jagerbombs will continue - a good enough reason in itself to come down!

Doors open at 10pm and entry is only a paltry €5, but we advise you go get down early to avoid being left hanging out to dry ;)

Lets keep this going, lets keep it fresh - get your groove on, see you on the dancefloor.

Might make it in this Saturday. Will be around town for the match with some of the lads so as long as they're not too messy I might talk them into going down for a look.

I was thinking of doing the same, but I don't rate our chances of getting in with football jerseys!

Unless a double jager and a pint would make you happy ?

(referring to the double jager/red-bull for €8 and the pint for €4) :)

Bundle the 1.47 into a dublin bus for the journey in and get some hot chick to bring you home, bobs your uncle.

just checked out the pics from the Launch night, was that a box of Persil or Bold (or a detergent of another name!) used as a laptop stand for one of the DJs? Class!

Unfortunately were in between venues at the moment. The Pint had a few issues. Watch this space for updates, a few options in the pipeline
