How could anyone live in this massive Jenga building? For less than 10% of the price Aaron Spelling owns this beast of a home:

Aesthetic beauty and view of political matters are so linked. Not everybody believed the emperor had new clothes ;)

Well sustainability is quite an important factor in architecture, and for the price, someone said 17million? That's fairly cheap for a skyscraper and it's very environmentally conscious. Maybe when the plants grow longer and begin wrapping around the building, it might look better

If you're spending $2B on a house it would want to come with a small planet or a few moons or something.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 589 ✭✭✭Irish Trinity

should spend at least another billion on some fashion sense

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,662 ✭✭✭RMD

All yous and your traditional mega house. I'd eat my dog to live in that, how many houses have a garden halway up the building. Don't want to take the stairs? Fly from one of the lower helipads to the upper ones.

You lads need to sort out your priorities.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,154 ✭✭✭Niall Keane

certainly beats a 90's Irish Muck Mansion! What! no pitched roof, no fluted columns and porch, no eagles guarding the driveway???? No en-suite for the utility room???

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,153 ✭✭✭Rented Mule

i dont think anyone would say no to living in it for free....

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 29,509 ✭✭✭✭randylonghorn

    Ker-ist, that's fugly!!

It may be environmentally sustainable in the technical sense, but surely concern for the environment should still extend to aesthetics?
