Hi, I'm thinking about doing the above course.. Details below.

    Course Description
The aim of this course is to provide course participants with the skills and knowledge in manual accounts and payroll which will either assist them in seeking employment as accounts clerks and/or enable them to further their education in accounts. Topics Covered in this Module: Daybooks/Jurnals, Ledgers (Creditors, Debtors & Nominal), VAT Returns, Bank Reconciliation, Credit Control, Trial Balance and Payroll.

Anyone done or know anyone that has done this or a similar course? At the mo I run a business with my partner and I'm looking to be able to do more of the accounts and payroll myself and get a better understanding of it. My old boss who's been an accountant for 40yrs does all this for me now and he's great but I'd like to be able to do more of it myself. Would this course be the right one to do?? I've no experience in any sort of accounts/business etc etc.

And the reason I picked the Fas one is that the center is right next to my office in work..
