Are Main Dealer Service Histories linked?

What I mean is, e.g. Casey Autoworld closed down unfortunately a few months ago. If I buy a Ford that was previously serviced by Casey, can I get the service record from another Ford Main Dealer's computer?

    Thanks.

    Yes you can.

I subsequently did the donkey-work, and the answer is no, I can't. I rang other Ford Main Dealers and Ford Customer Service themselves. I even rang the Liquidator!

So now I'm looking at a car with no service book, stamped or otherwise, and no service history that I can access. And suddenly I don't want to buy it any more

if you not happy then dont buy it, I am sure there are plenty more of them around for sale, with full service history.
