How to put bereaved Parents Affairs in order

Hi We recently lost our widowed Father and we now have to look at putting things in order, but unsure what we need to do.

It will be a while before we can get a death cert as although he had a terminal illness for some years, he still had to have a post mortem as it was more than 28 days since he had last seen his GP. We have been told that can take up to 15 weeks.

It was always understood by us all, that the house and anything else, (bank accounts etc) was to be left to our youngest sibling who lived with him and there was a will made to that effect a number of years ago, which I'm sure one of us has somewhere.
All of us have no problem with our late fathers wishes, so really what i'm looking for is advice on where do we go from here.
ie getting house title deeds changed over, insurance policies re my Dad's, death phone, electricity, gas etc.
Any advice would be appreciated, thanks
