I'm gonna get sky+HD I currently had standard sky.
I just realised i have a second coax from the terestial aerial at the TV I routed these cables behind a wall a few years ago

The 2nd cable isn't long enough to reach where the sky dish is. would and installer have a problem joining up to this cable aand going the few meters to the dish? total distance is about 12-13 meters

    Cheers

I presume one end of the cable is in the attic
Most installers would be delighted to see the second cable already installed to the attic and would use this willingly.
There are some who may refuse going into the attic and will probably install their own cable on surface on the exterior wall.
Either way he'll let you know his intentions once he surveys the job.

Yip the end of the cable is in the attic.
The main TV is in the center of the house that what makes it a bit more awkard to get cables neatly to it.
If i thought the installer would have an issue with it i'd get the connectors myself and add on a length of cable. but don't want to do there work and save myself a few dollars

If the tv doesn't sit backing on to an exterior wall, he'll have no choice but to use the existing cable.
Depends on the installer whether he'll access the attic.
    Hope it works out
