Pupils at a national school in Co Cork have been asked to provide their own toilet paper to help off-set costs.

A sign of how sh|t it is to be in school, wha' wha'?

That's nothing. I had to walk 15 miles barefoot in the snow to wipe my arse. Had to carry the manky toilet paper back with me to flush it.

I`d have been way too embarrassed to carry around my own loo roll, it was unlady like to admit to doing that kind of thing. But then, the toilets at my school were used only for illicit smoking, and a place for the slappers to get laid in (I guess they had to bring their own condoms).

    kinda makes sense.

in my old school, someone or some people used to go around at little break and throw all the toilet paper down the loo, blocking every one. Or else throw loads of spit balls with. Made absolutely no sense and was the biggest hassle for the cleaners every night. w@nkers

My primary school had no soap and no hot water. It was like the Middle Ages.

I'm sure the teachers jax did.
I seem to have memories of a lot of wet toilet paper sticking to the cieling of the lads toilets.

I was surprised that this thread had nothing to do with college students robbing all the toilet rolls in the college bathrooms.

Was watching the news this evening with my parents and the reacted to this: "What are they talking about?, We used to have to take a bag of turf to school once a week and the teacher used to only heat her arse by the fire out of it" I laughed!

You think that's bad, I had to get up in the morning at ten o'clock at night half an hour before I went to bed, drink a cup of sulphuric acid, work twenty-nine hours a day down mill, and pay mill owner for permission to come to work, and when we got home, our Dad and our mother would kill us and dance about on our graves singing Hallelujah.
