Need help with digital box, only blue screen

I have multiroom, one digital plus in living room and standard small silver box in bedroom. The one in the living room is fine but the standard one is just showing a blue screen. By the way the little yellow light is on but that's about it. It's not even responding to the remote control, checked batteries and they're fine. Iirc a few years back I was told to plug, unplug, do something with the card but can't for the life of me remember now. Can anyone enlighten me? Thought this might be quicker than ringing them.

It sounds like the small Pace stb you have. Under normal conditions the light on the front should only be one of two colours, green when on and red when in standby. Is it just a solid yellow/orange light or is it flashing?

Yes it's the really small silver box and the light it has always been yellow, orangy yellow when first turned on then static yellow.

You can't do any sort of reset on those boxes. Sounds like you'll need to get someone out to look at it for you.

Well you can pull the mains supply for a few seconds and then plug it back in. That's the only sort of reset option with those boxes.
