PSP video files on PS3 Slim

I am thinking of entering the blu ray market and investing in a PS3 slim for Chirstmas. Over the past year I have converted alot of movies so they are playable on the PSP at home.

If I get the Ps3 slim, can I simply add the PSP movies to the hard drive of the PS3? I am assuming there will be issues around video quality given the resolution of the PSP. Does anybody have any experience of doing this and what the results were like?

Not sure about the slim but I have streamed PSP and even iTouch vids to my PS3... All were fine. Yes quality may not be amazing - but I have found it to be quite good.

Guess it depends on what software you used to convert the movies to begin with.

Whatever you've converted for use on your PSP will work on your PS3.

    But not neccessarily vice-versa.
