Anyone used the Danelectro Cool Cat Range of pedals, and if so are they any good? I'm half thinking of getting their overdrive or transparent overdrive. Not sure though yet.

Couldnt tell you about that series, but I have a danelectro danowah and it was BRUTAl. so much feedback and added gain so never touched a danelectro product again, and never will.

I used it maybe 3 times in the 4-5 years iv had it, couldnt even tell you where it is now,

under mountains off dust by now i guess.

this might sway you toward buying one. I know Frankie is using a maz 38 which is a bit of a tone monster but for overdrive he's using a transparent overdrive which is the lad you're enquiring about. I've heard good things about those pedals. :)

By all means great pedals. I haven't played any of them, but I know the transparent overdrive is a straight clone of the Timmy OD, and the fuzz is a straight clone of one of the Frantone fuzzes. Faithful copies of horribly expensive boutique pedals for cheap? Win

We do them, they are pretty good. Depending on which way you have it setup it can be subtle or totally full on ! They are between 30 - 40 euro approx.

Great Pedals and and absolute bargain. Forget anything you knew about Dano pedals, the Cool Cats are a whole new level of quality and sound. Have been gigging with the drive and Chorus for the past year.
