wouldn't touch the burgers really - ya don't know how long they've been there... the gallery really has gone downhill over the past few years. I thought the bagel stand used to do well so don't undertand taking that away for.

... and why can't they have mashed potatoes and veg in there?

Upstairs in the Gallery is usually pretty decent if you get there just before the rush. If you want a big feed though, you can't beat the Hot House Bistro. You won't go hungry if you eat from there!

Personally I think the portions are a disgrace, €6.00 for 400 ml of "Coke" 15 chips and 3 and a half chicken tenders. and €2.15/40 for a Latte in the Hot house bistro.

Another thing about the gallery, I don't like being hunted by the cleaning woman, she waits silently, she don't blink... if you don't bring your plate to the shelf she will go for you. I bring my plate the whole time, but I cant help but feel i'm being watched.

We are in the Gallery on my laptop, watching her right now. We're the watchers ;)

Food in college has gone downhill..

Thought The Dome was decent last year, not really liking it much anymore..

Bistro is ok I suppose, but rarely ever eat there.

If only upstairs Gallery would give a few roast spuds and stuffing with the turkey instead of wedges!

Not a big fan of food in the college - Dome has gone down hill but the best imo. Canteen isnt great and the Gallery seems over-rated and offers little (bar nice pizza)

Have you had the chilli potato? It's a nice munch for a budget eater!

The Gallery used to be nice, the bagel stand was one of the best things about it, the smoothies were not bad either. I was never much of a fan of their hot meals though, the Bistro and the Dome always had a nicer selection.

Why on earth did they take away the Bagel bar.. maybe decorating the directors office is more important than a decent choice of good food.. instead of stuff you can get cheaper (and probably nicer) in the local chippy.

Ever consider making your own juicy sandwich and having it for lunch. What you spend on the contents of a weeks supply of homemade sandwiches you would buy 2 full dinners in the college.
