Record two programmes at once?

Hi, im trying to record two programmes at once tonight on my upc digital box, i gave it a test on two programmes on now but it said you have to turn your box on standby to be able to do that? So you cant record two programmes and continue watching another channel? Are you just meant to record one at a time?

Has to be switched off to record two programmes. You can watch the anologue channels though.
