    Oh that's good.

Anyone know when we are going to get Season 2 on a mainstream channel or do we have to wait another year?

Started it last night, recorded it but channel 4 has too many breaks, usually right after the titles anyway not starting on TG4 till 26 of october which is a long time away:rolleyes:

Yeah I couldn't believe the amount of ad's, the show is only 55 mins but they had 4 or 5 ad breaks, very annoying

TV shows are generally produces for 3 ad breaks over the course of an hour. However this is on cable TV and they don't show ad breaks hence when it does arrive on ad break TV it ends up with 4 or 5 ad breaks :( TG4 should have less.

    Freudian slip?:p

This is a truely great show, but it takes a while to build up steam. If you're undecided about it, then stick with it... It really digs its fangs into you after the 4th-5th episode

Hey I caught it last night about 5mins into it, didnt realise it was on. So was that the pilot episode?

Really liked it anyway, hated the 10million ad breaks. I'm so used to watching TV shows online or on boxsets I've no patience for ad breaks anymore. Am moving to Canada next month so I wont be able to follow it properly, wonder if its out yet on dvd over there...

Season 1's been out on DVD over there for a while so you'll probably get it at a good price. Season 2 should be nearly over for US/Can viewers I guess.

+1 on this I nearly gave up on it becuase I thought it was a bit meh, so glad I stuck with it. The 2nd half of series 1 is brilliant, I especially like when it does humour. Looking forward to season 2 (hope Eric the sexy vampire sheriff is in it more, him and his sidekick are hilarious)

Yep, the Season 2 finale was Sept 13th in the US (I watch it online). Season 2 DVD is on pre-order with Amazon but no official release date yet.

He is in it more but still not enough for me ;)

I am normally not a fan of American shows (The Wire, Lost, The Sopranos etc) but I have to admit I was fairly impressed by True Blood.

BTW.....Sky+ for the winner when it comes to the multitude of ad breaks :p

Anyone know if Channel 4 cut scenes last night after their "techcnical problem"?? Went straight to credits after Sookie walked into her friend's house (not sure of the other character's names yet)

Nah, there was no reason to cut (I saw it online a while ago), it was just a feck up on C4's part. Hopefully won't happen again, it would just have to be the ending wouldn't it. When next episode starts, they'll show that bit you missed to catch you up.
