I thought this was a pretty good episode. House is definitely on form, he was good fun during the differentials. I'm still a little wtf regarding what Chase did. That's going to come back to haunt him. I'm always a little wary when a TV show tries to play around with world politics, particularly when it's not its brief. Great to see the original team working together again. Less Boreteen is definitely a good thing, we're still going to have to put up with them...I've a feeling no matter what the writers do with their story it will feel awkward.

Wow. Chase was bad ass in that episode. It really kinda raises the question - what would you do in that situation?
Great episode though. Hope Taub's absence is only temporary.

Did anyone notice they copied or referred to two us tv shows - house's capture of the neighbour was very similar to dexter and wilson mentioned sookie (true blood) when House noticed there was no garlic in his dinner.

    Nice touch I thought.

The start and the end were great the middle was a bit muck...probably because of the great first half and ending :o

missed the true blood reference. prob cos i'm only getting into it. very dexter of house with the capture of his neighbour. man chase was bad ass. I could kinda see it coming after cameron changed her mind

Good episode I thought, liked seeing cameron and chase having a proper storyline again, and not so much of the annoying foreteen stuff, beginning to find that a bit tedious myself. And ofc Hugh Laurie getting back to his comical best in the meeting room :P

Yes, I thought that too, it was incredibly similar.

It was interesting, Foreman's clearly come on in leaps and bounds as a diagnostician but you can't but think he'll end up just, like, House. Chase, has always been the more interesting of the original ducklings and it did highlight for me just how... unchanged Cameron is. Still the same, apart from a bit more jaded, never standing up for what she believes in. Hugh Laurie was just so damn good in the differentials and it's awesome how House is still... House, just not aimed being vindictive at everyone else.

    i really enjoyed that.

like others, i'm very much WTF with what Chase did, but it opens up an interesting arc of sorts; plus it more than likely means we're going to get a lot more of the original team.

the differentials were just absolute class. they had me laughing out loud. laurie was just perfect in them. when he was miming out 'LDH' and told Cameron she needed to spread her legs for him to make an 'H'; it was classic.

the episode had me feeling a little nostalgic with how the four of them interracted with each other.

i can't wait until next week.

The scene is calling this S06E03, so can we go with that method?

I think the show production code has it as S06E04, so I think we should stick with that.

Might take a second look at this episode but I didn't think it was as good as the first and second episodes. Thought the Sookie bit was funny.

Good episode, really felt that it peaked and troughed a little too often though (even if the peaks were great).

I hope they draw out Chases character a lot more in future episodes.

Pity Thirteen is still pretty boring. (And pretty)

Very good episode. Much better than last week. Cameron is still a self righteous hypocrite, Foreman is a complete social retard and Thirteen can just drop off a cliff.
I really enjoyed the original team being central in this one again. I think the cast chemistry was bang on first time around.
Chase was brilliant. He really is one of the best characters. House was pretty good too. The kidnapping was hilarious. Very Dexterish as some people have said. It just goes to show he doesn't need drugs to be completely blaze about a situation, which is a key element of his character.

Would this have been Darth Vader's future if the parental instinct hadn't got the better of him? Haaaaaah cough.

I was a bit shocked by Chase's actions, but then we don't know how his personality formed in the last two years. He'd become a surgeon and having a God complex often goes with the job. Presumably this storyline will lead, at least in part, to
    Cameron's departure.
Would be interesting if he takes a tougher line with House in the future, but hard to see House wanting him in the team in such a case.

And Peter Jacobson's name was gone off the credits!

Definite improvement over last week's episode - nice to see the Original Ducklings back. It did make me realise I didn't miss Cameron at all but that Chase is still one of the best characters in the show. His decision here is in character I believe (he can get emotionally attached at times) but it'll be interesting to see how it affects him.

Less Thirteen, and thus Boreteen, was a good thing. Less Taub was a bad thing though - I hope he's not gone. I'd like House's team to consist of Taub, Chase, and either a resurrected Kumar or a re-animated Cut Throat Bitch. That'd be an interesting set up.

As to House's storyline - I liked it. As pointed out elsewhere, it's good to see he's sarky still without being cruel. His Dexter moment was well played and I really like that we're getting a lot more Wilson/House time on screen, as it was missing a bit last season.

is been almost 3 yrs??the good old gang :) absolutely enjoy it!more of the old gang pls!!

foreman actually has a good performance in this episode - is good to see the stubborn man shows some doubts in making his decision.less Foreteen and we are all happy!

need to point out that the mirror box is a relatively new technique for the treatment of Phantom hand pain - it showed promising results alright but it doesnt work out that fast/dramatic.

i liked house being so incorrect about the canadian vietnam vet. when he was on the stairs, and suddenly deflated. the character needs that now and again. there is being wrong and there is being an ass.

Also like the early charisma the dictator seemed to exhdue. pity they kinda dropped it towards the end so you didnt feel too bad about him dying. would have been so interesting if the writers had found decent reasoning for the guy to have been involved in wholesale genocide but still maintaining the moral highground. would have made his murder so much the more shocking.

kinda hard to endorse african tinpots though clearly.
