Insurance for Racquetball

    I was hoping someone could help me as I want to get insurance to cover me in the event of a sports related Injury.

    You could try to get personal sports injury insurance, not sure if any insurance companies to this. The larger associations such as the GAA, FAI, IRFU have player insurance for their players. The charge per player is realistic since these organisations have massive player bases.
    Minority sports like racquetball do not have such large numbers playing so cost per player for sports injury insurance would be prohibitive.
    Apart from normal injury associated with any sport, pulled muscles, sprained ankles etc the most dangerous aspect of racquetball is the get hit in the eye with a ball, so therefore in all sanctioned racquetball tournaments in Ireland players are required to wear approved lensed eyeguards.
