Which tyre is better?

    Better for what?

Faster? Grippier? Lontest lasting? Most puncture resistant? For commuting or training or what? What are your priorities here?

I've used the rubino pros on my fixie and I quite like them. More comfortable than gatorskinz (softer rubber) but still remarkably puncture resistant.

Well, I have never used the Maxxis but I have used the Vittoria Rubino Pro's for thousands of kilometers more than any other tyre I've ever used and am really pleased with them. I used to get them for €15/€16 on PBK, not sure how much they are these days but they seem to be very good value for money. They never let me down grip wise in any conditions and are bombproof in my experience, I think I remember one, maybe two punctures over 10,00kms...great reliability!

Sorry, should have been more specific...would be for commuting about 10km a day and training (nothing too serious 50 - 100 km a week)...priorities being puncture proof, faster, good grip in that order.

Was really just seeing if there was much of a difference between either or if anyone had anything terrible to say about them!
