    Ok, I think i have the right forum for once. Not looking for medical advice, just your opinion if you were me:confused:

    Im not exactly over weight but have a bit of a "beer belly" and well i could do with losing a stone or so. Some weeks i have my bad weeks where i feel very down about my image and other weeks i feel ok. i can get very paranoid about it.obvioulsy i have tried loads a things to lose weight a about 2 years ago i lost a good few stone but it has gradually came back on. im in college so we go out drinkin alot.

    but anyway, THE PROBLEM is i suffer quiet alot from nausea and complete lack of appetite one day i feel like vomiting thinking about food and complete over indulgence the next (i havent lost any weight due to this) i have been to my doctor a few times and he said i may have a stomach ulcer(im only 20) and i got tablets for the nausea but the whole thing is very reoccuring...

    anyway do you think that my paranoia about my weight is psycholgically(Spelt wrong) affecting my thoughts about eating or food???:confused:

    Its not exactly helping you is it? Why are you putting yourself through this?

    If you really have weight to lose why not try combining a healthy diet with some exercise and lay off the drink for a bit.

    I would suggest that you re-visit your doctor and ask his/her advice regarding a weight reduction plan taking into consideration your medical issues.

    Only the person who knows the exact issue and how to work around it will be the person who got your medical test results and has experience with the matter.

    Best of luck.

    I would say "no" because it's not a constant - some days you can eat, others you can't.

    I'm diabetic, and on my off days, I get like this. I'm not saying you're diabetic, btw :)

    what happens is, I go low, then eat loads to bring my sugar back up, then go high, then take insulin to correct, then go low again. If your normal blood sugar is 5, my cycles could go like this:

    2 -> eat -> 15 -> insulin -> 3 -> eat -> 8 -> insulin -> 5.

    It's a see-saw effect, I'd guess that's what you're going through. Can't eat, then eat loads, then can't eat. What you should try to do is, when you feel like you can't eat, eat something simple like soup, and that should reduce the urge to binge the next day.

    do you feel sick after you have been drinking alot?
    i d a mate who was kinda the same, he drank alot of red bull and vodka in college and shots, and he wondered why his stomoch was at him, he aint nothing but **** food instead of healthy food, he started to eat better and drink alot less and he doin alot better now, he alos got lots of test and stuff done but they didnt really find anything wrong with him
    i know a girl too who used to eat loads then be annoyed she eaten so much so she d not eat anything, which cant be good for you either , even more so if what your eating is sweets and rubbish,
    have you tried eating alittle better and not goin so mad on the booze, worth a shot
