    Edit: It seems they've taken the announcement down... Nice tactics, Apple. Nice.

    It promised a thinner, faster Macbook.

    Are there gonna be major cosmetic updates across the board too or are a few products just going to be thinner?

    A redesign of the Mighty Mouse is welcomed considering the persistent rollerball issue.

    There is unlikely be anything major. A thinner plastic Macbook and iMac. And a more recession-friendly Mini. And maybe a few cheapish but appealing new features thrown in. Like what the MBP got in the summer.

    AI posted a rumour about a possible Mighty Mouse redesign recently. I wouldn't bet on it, but if true it would make sense to release it at the same time as the new iMacs.

    Have they put firewire ports on the mac-books again? Was one my grievances with the last model?

    Yeah, they did that back in June. They also rebranded all the unibodies as Macbook Pros.

    Sweet. Been missing my old Mini terribly and I was holding out on buying a new one - starting at €499 when the new ones are announced will be pretty good (and I wonder if that will be the current "high end" model).
