Good Service for a Focus

    Have a 1.6 05 Focus II. would like if anybody knows a good Ford/independent dealer in the Dublin area that would do a good service at a reasonable cost.
    Please do not recommend advance as I have prior experience with them which wasn't great.

    It's worth having a go at this yourself. If there is nothing major mechanical that needs changing (i.e. timing belt, steering rack etc.) a basic service can be done for about €100 - €150.

    Your looking at engine oil 5w30 semi synthetic, oil filter, air filter, pollen filter, NGK sparks, good quality HT leads, front brake pads, the rear shoes are a pig to do if you don't have the right tools and a haynes manual heh.

    A garage will add on 2 - 3 hours labour on top of that (€200 €350).
