I wonder, which club has the best facilities? A lot of clubs have gotten renovated and done up but which one has the best?

    I'd have to say Ashbourne - http://www.ashbournerugby.ie/ -

We got a grant from the IRFU a while back to do up the place. 2 full size floodlit pitches, stands, training area, 3rd's pitch, function room, astro turf.

And I'm not just saying Ashbourne cos I play there, okay? :pac:

UCD has brillant facilities for training and playing just missing a sports bar.

Cill Dara have a very impressive set up. I think it was Malahide I was in a couple of years ago, and it was really nice.

Navan, as much as I hate to admit it! They have a completely self-sufficient set up of bar, restaurant, gym and at least 4 rugby pitches. A huge part of this development was funded by the sale of land for houses AFAIK. If only all clubs were as lucky :(

Marys probally has the best in Leinster- 3 bars, gym, Large amount of terracing.
Not been to Cill Dara but Malahide has the best of any Junior Club I have seen, Ashbourne clubhouse is not great but pitches are excellent.

Ashbourne have a great setup, did really well with the spending of their grant. pitches are a great surface too. I like Navans setup with the club house and stand built in, nice bars too, but the pitches don't hold so well and get boggy in wet weather.
Cill Dara spent pretty well too when they sold their old grounds facilities wise, not keen on the clubhouse there though, not as warm and welcoming as others if you get what I mean?
Haven't had a chance to play in Malahide yet, heard it's the nuts though.

I played a match in Coolmine recently and was impressed with the pitchs and clubhouse.

Waterpark is not too bad either.

Yeah, I'd have to agree that the clubhouse could have a bit of doing up, but there's nothing better then the smell of grass + deep heat at 10 am on a saturday morning! :pac:
