    Hi all,

Four weeks ago, after nearly a year of searching for work i finally managed to secure a full time job. I was and am still delighted and i feel really really lucky to have been so fortunate to have found work because i do know how terrible things are in the job market.

My problem however is that i have just been offered a full time job from a crowd i applied to a few weeks ago, before i started my present job. To be honest i cant turn down this job because they are offering three times what i am gettin paid at the moment. I would be a fool not to take it but whats getting to me is my loyalty to my current employer. I am so grateful to them for the opportunity they gave me and up to now things have been great, with me happy to work my butt off and them being delighted as a result.

upon starting the job i signed a fixed term temporary contract for one year. Has anyone ever left a job after a month? And if so how do i go about it? My contract states a minimum of one weeks notice to be given.

To be honest im sh*tting bricks because even though i have left jobs before, i have never left one after as little as four weeks. Im just worried how they are going to take it.

Im not going to try to spoof them, im going to be genuine and tell them the full story. But if anyone has any advice they could give me i would be very grateful.

Like i wonder will they just aceept my notice or will they be demanding i see out my contract? I have never worked under contract before so im unfamiliar with the ins and outs.

Sorry for such a long winded post and for rambling but im in a bit of a didder at the moment.:o

Thanks in advance for any help!

No, they won't demand you work out your 1 year contract :)
