I know its very late to be looking to enter for DCM (closing is next Monday at 5pm) Went just now to enter online to find that there is a €7.20 euro 'processing fee' applied to the entry - How in the name of online processing can anyone charge 8% to have you enter all your details onto their system leaving them without any processing :mad:

Anyway rant over. Does anyone know where to find an entry form that I can crawl on my hands and knees over broken glass to hand deliver. They offer a postal address for sending cheques but I cant find an actual entry form on the site.

PS - I am now completely stressed and all I need now is plenty of rain to go with XC run this afternoon

If I were you, I'd call in to the Marathon office, fill out the form there on the spot. Normally, they'd post it out to you, if you ask them, but you wouldn't get it back in time.

By the way, I'd guess that "fee" goes to ActiveEurope rather than the DCM.

Give Carol a ring at 01 6232250 on Monday morning and she can fax you a form which you can complete and fax back. Otherwise, you will have to call in personally to the office.

Lecheile - I was hoping to do this last week, rang monday left a message and got a call back on Tuesday. I asked the lady could they e-mail or fax it to me, never recieved the entry form so I contacted them again and still nothing. I'm just gonna enter online and pay the processing fee

Just done the same myself - and now with the passage of time and a sense of appreciation for what is involved in organising the event - I realise that the last thing anyone in the office wants is a moaner like me looking for special treatment on the closing day of the event.

Next year I'll get my act together on time.

I contacted the DCM a few weeks ago for a paper entry, and they actually emailed me the PDF version of the entry form. I printed it out and then faxed it in to them. Entries aren't due until 5pm today - if anyone wants a copy of the PDF, PM me your email address and I'll send you a copy.
