    This isnt funny
    Just bought fifa 2010 and played fifa for 30 mins and the game froze. ok grand happens once a year right... then i turn of the game and on again and next thing the disk wont read so i tot bad copy of game. took out the game and tried several others and none work not even a br movie... wtf happened??? am majorly pissed of as booked the day off from my girlfriend to play the game and now the console is ****ed

    im sorry to tell ya mate but your blu-ray drive is dead, same thing happened me when playing cod4. hope your under warranty. Some people have had success with a format but i had no luck myself:(

    you can get a replacement laser assembly for aprox €70 (including shipping) from UK, took me about 40 minutest (from start to finish) to fix my PS3 and a friends last night. Instructions available on web for dismantle and replacing the whole assembly.
    It's a bummer, but I played loads last nite after I got it working
