crossthreaded pedals

    hey gang
    hope yer all well
    i have a lapierre rcr 500.

    i have cross threaded the pedal shaft
    i took off a pedal and i tried to put on my new pedal and it wood only go on side ways, and then wood stop threading so i knew there was something wrong.

    and im wondering what i can do?

    so i just bought dual mode bbb pedals, lovely pedals by the way, but my bike is out of action until i get this crossthreading sorted.

    Did this once when I was young and foolish. I'd read that you could fix it by tapping and chasing the crank and using a helicoil or bushing. No shop was able to do it though. Ended up having to buy new cranks.

    i was onlz lookin at the chainwheel there this morning, all the teeth o the chainwheel look wrecked, Im thinking of replacing the whole thing out the front, i.e. the two front pedals.

    In order to promote longevitz and a smooth transition, do zou need to replace everzthing at once, i.e. the chain the back cogs and the front chainwheel all at once.

    I saw this on ebay, are they available for less anywhere?
