I am not here to give my views on Lisbon there are plenty places for that.
I would like people to thow up some nice photographs they might have taken themselves or from papers in relation to this.
Saw this one from the Irish Times today.

Those saxaphone players get younger each year.

I'm just back from the GPO after been taking photos and asking both sides my own questions, hope they come out.
On a slighly related matter I was thinking of going to the RDS tomorrow night to see the count but don't know if you need a ticket for it or is it open to the public. Does anyone know for definate the chances of getting in off the hoof?

And your 100% on that? I thought I heard the Dublin manager say his lot were counting from Fri evening, I was only half listening so could well be wrong.

I emailed Clare Co Co and they said saturday morning.
The Vote is not finished till 10 and by the time they get all boxes to counting place in Dublin it would be at least midnight. Will look around if I can see anything more.

I don't think just anyone can go in. I've been at both local/Euro and General election counts in teh past and always needed a pass to get into the GPO.

I have been to all aswell local/euro general in both Killarney and Mallow and never needed a pass. Not sure is Dublin different.
You do in some places need a pass to be tallying votes but everyone should be allowed into the general area.
