Tapping into a buried rain drainage pipe

Hi all,
What is the best (easiest) way to create a junction in a buried rain drainage pipe, preferably a Y-junction. I am worried that I will have to expose meters of the pipe in order to have enough "give" to fit a regular coupling.

Are "saddle" fittings available here where you cut a hole in existing pipe and stick saddle over hole.

Just not sure what are the options here. Hope I've explained myself sufficiently.

yes there are saddles availible. depending on the size of the pipe.

i would recomend an AJ. (access junction) this way in the case of a blockage it can be rodded easily enough.

i think ajs are quite expensive though( could be just the risers never had to pay for any)

i am sure some of the other posters can tell you about the other side of tapping on to surface water pipe as in the legal side of it. as in are you allowed to , are you sure its just surface water and not foul etc etc.

if you decise to go with a y branch always to remeber to make your inlet flow with the normal flow of the pipe.
