    Hi all
Have decided to get fit and slim down so joined a gym and am sorting my diet out. So can anyone tell me some lowfat sauces I can have with my dinner (veg, meat and some new potatoes)? Or maybe a site where I can find ideas?
    Thanking you!!

Tomato based sauces are good, low fat/calorie and lots of cancer-fighting micronutrients.

I agree tomato based sauces are way healthier then white wine or creamy sauces but they can be a little boring.

Try adding cumin, cayenne pepper, cajun spice or chilli powder for a kick.
Also, add basil, oregano etc when making pasta dishes. Black pepper is always lovely too, give of flavour.

You could also use yogurt or low fat creme fraiche. Also try squeezing lime juice into sauces for extra bite.

If you're making a stir fry, use soy sauce which is low calorie although it is high salt so not that great. You can use oyster sauce (I hate fish but like this, it's not fishy), some ornage juice (weirdly this works well), honey and lots of spices etc.

    Enjoy

    I'm hungry
