    Hi,

Any idea where to get a Garmin 305 repaired.

Mine seems to click off after been only on a few minutes even though fully charged. Also any slight touch of the on/off button (I mean slight) turns it off.

Is there a shop anywhere in Dublin that fixes these?

Thanks in advance for any help.

    Rgds,
    D

If it's under warrently (1yr iirc) you can RMA it back to Garmin.
I sent my nuvi back to them recently. Took about two weeks.

Even if it's out of warranty, Garmin will repair it for you (for a price). Quite often they will just just give you a new replacement (or factory refurb). Best thing to do is contact them. I wouldn't trust any local electronics shop to try and do repairs.

If the cost turns out to be more than €80, you;'re probably better off trying to pick up a new one.
