Really though - loved BF bad company 1, multiplayer was always great drop in / drop out fun.

And although I've never had a high ordinance explosive such as a mortar or grenades explode beside me, I'd bet the producers have interviewed real life vets to reproduce it. That or they're letting off pipe bombs and describing the aural effects for "production values."

Anyways, it looks far superior to BFBC1, and that was a good looking game, the explosions in the 1st game were a bit lack luster, but from looking at that vid, the explosions look brilliant now.

Can't wait for this, any word on whether it will have prone or not? I hated that as a sniper in the 1st one you could only crotch.

Was never a huge BF fan but I'm sold hook line & sinker since I got BF1943 on the ps3, one of the best MP console games around imo.

Im not happy its coming out on PC, im going to have to buy it twice now..... Still cant wait for this one. I thought it was coming out for a crimbo release but now they say march, given EAs record who wants to guess witch march it will be? 2010 or 2011.

This game is going to be excellent. Still playing BadCo all the time. The multiplayer is the best still.

It seems the PS3 beta is for North America only. Hope it's not the same for the PC beta.

Its fantastic, went back playing it after 4 month of playing 1943 solid and all i can say is its still great and pleanty of lads still playing it and all.

No its not, us lucky Europeans actually got the beta before America. Played it for a few hours tonight, found it hard to get used to i cant get rid of BF2 habits for some reason.

But its brilliant, i think they should have added more classes (the assault does the resupply, wtf?) anyway great fun.

Although the specializations (perks) are a bit worrying im like rank 14 or so and i have 1 perk that gives you more armour, ok not too bad, but the next one gave me more accurate bullets, i havent tried that yet but come on! Whats wrong with a pure FPS. The weapon unlocks seem to be done very well, then they add this ****.

I've got the beta which is great. Great game, few issues here & there but I suppose that's the point of the beta. I just hope it doesn't ship with the same lag issues BF: BC1 had

umm there isnt a demo because the game isnt out yet...but the beta is out some time this month or next month,ive heard that you need to pre-order the game to get a beta code but not sure if thats the case

Demo's are generally released before an actual game in order to drum up interest. They released a demo for BF2 about a month before its release.

Got mine on steam, there are cheaper places but handiness was worth the extra €10-€15 .

This looks savage although I've never played the game on a PS3 - used to play a LOT of BF2 on the PC and miss it...

MW2 for is a bit a joke at the moment but lets not get into that - hopefully this turns out to be a lot better.

Got mine on steam too, the extra few quid is worth it imo although i might start using direct 2 drive a bit more often,they seem a bit cheaper.

This time I got it on steam but they are rip off FU.CKs, had a moment of weakness when they dangled the instant beta access in front of me. Only for that I would never have got it there.

Take AVP for example......€29 in game and €49.99 on STEAM....WTF!

Yes it is handy but they taken the piss......

I just picked it up on Steam too. The xmas sale has let me forgive Steam for the prices of some third party games, which o lot of, iirc, is out of their hands anyway.
I've never really played BF much before and MW2 was just plain ****e, this looks like a lot more fun.

Just started the SP of this on pc and my first impressions are not good, the controls are terribly laggy with a kb & mouse and the cutscenes are in panoramic widescreen which looks shíte at 16:10, there's lots of them too, although most will buy this for its MP.

aye Pog I just tried the SP also, the FOV is pretty sh1te, its giving me motion sickness but thankfully Dice have lisened and are supporting a better FOV in a launch day patch and hopefully the laggy mouse will also be fixed

Despite its flaws I'm really enjoying this SP. Graphics are quite good, although the snow level in the demo is graphically the worst of them, jungle looks great. The completely destructible environment is the best thing about the game, You sometimes have cover, but not for long

So the retail or *aquired* game is worse then the beta.? I aint having these issues with the beta.....Hmmmmm, I hope they get it sorted ASAP.

Yeah, MP is the way and reason to get it.

Same with BF2, that had NO singleplayer, and look how it turned out ...here's hoping the same, they patched the MP Beta up pretty decent come the end.

I must agree on the latter bf2 patches.
I went back to BF2 over the weekend after almost two years away and couldnt believe how much they improved it,nowhere near as much dolphin diving now.
All the expansions free with the latest patch was a master stroke.

Just completed the single player game. Tis very enjoyable. I think some more time should have been taken to tidy it up though as there are still a few minor glitches - nothing major though.

Can't wait for release day.

I honestly think that the bots in BF2 were smarted than the AI in BC2.

As you said Jesus, enjoyable but really just a starter before the main course begins

Probably a bit early to ask but from other peoples experience with MW2(I decided to wait for BC2 ) where is the cheapest bricks and mortar store to get this on Friday?

EDIT: Actually decided to just get this from the EA store, didnt realise you can start playing the single player. Also for anyone who is interested I found these discount codes: VoucherCodes.com25% and HotUKDeals20%. Havent tried them yet so don't know if they work.
