    hi,

I have a 05 320cd coupe and recently i notice and intermittent problem, in the mornings the car just wont start, it turns over but wont engage. what i have noticed...

    its normally on cold mornings
when i turn the key to the on position and leave it for about 2-5 mins it will start after that
i notice there is a humming sound that kicks in after i turn the key and it starts were as if the humming sound is not there it wont start but after i have left the key in the ignition for 2-5 mins the hummming sound comes on and i know i can then start the car.

    any ideas?

Ya the humming sound is the fuel pump.
Try swaping the fuel pump relay.
