My favourite current theme is CM Punk's. I don't really listen to music that hard but I think it's an awesome song.

Of all time it's probably Shawn Michael's theme

I'm a big fan of Jack Swagger's at the mo as well

CM Punk would be another top one I reckon

I actually really dislike Christians. It just doesn't really suit at all. Preferred his theme after he split with Edge during the Invasion in 2001.

He had great pyro then too. I wonder why they got rid of it? Randy Orton had similar pyro too at one stage

Yeah, it was pretty cool. I prefer Ortons old entrance with the 'gold curtain' pyro and doing his taunt on the turnbuckle rather than this whole "stare intensely at everything and look like you're trying to foam at the mouth" thing he does nowadays. A bit of cockyness never goes amiss. His new music is better though

Also, Ted and Cody's theme when they were Priceless was better than the new Legacy theme they use in my opinion. But I guess its not a current theme any more so it doesn't count

current theme is definatley the longest running theme, HBK's sexy boy! its just great!

apart form that i love edges theme....although with him being injured maybe its not "current" but metallingus is a great song!

Does Jim Johnson even do themes any more or are they all made by special bands and stuff? Some of the old themes were absolutely brilliant and really suited the characters

I prefer theme tunes from the indies tbh where thay can use popular music instead of stock themes.

There nothing like "The Final Countdown" for Danielson or "Gimme Back my Bullets" for the Briscoes to get you in the mood for a match.

Greatest ever but not current anymore I suppose: Spartan X, Mitsuharu Misawa. What a tune.

Nothing like Sandmans entrance in ECW for "Enter Sandman". Really whipped the crowd into a frenzy.

My favourite of all time would be Chritians around 2001.

Worst would be for what would also be the worst stable of all time, X Factor (I think), X Pac, Albert and Justin Credible.

Agree about Christian’s “At Last you’re on own your won” - best ever!

Out of recent times I’d say James Storm’s “Sorry bout your Damn Luck” theme from when he was a singles wrestler.
As much as I like Beer Money, I’ll be glad when he goes solo and picks that theme up again (And because I think he can make it as a top singles guy anyway)

Also like Punk’s, glad Orton didn’t get it as first intended, don’t think it would suit him at all

Jamie Noble, under the name of James Gibson when in the indies, used Hank Williams - "A Country Boy Can Survive" as his theme music. Brilliant. Totally different.

Lol - I commend him on a brave and as you say, totally different choice. There’s obviously a lot more room for taking the pi$$ on the Indy scene without fear of damaging your character long term – Like Mr. Kennedy when he was plain old Ken Anderson – “Pour some sugar on me” by Def Leopard apparently

I’m disappointed to read that my favourite Indy pi$$take of all time – Edge’s alter ego Sexton Hardcastle (I still think he should use that name for a while sometime or they should have used that for Nick Nemeth instead of Dolph Ziggler) – used “Walk” by Pantera. A great entrance theme for a wrestler I’m sure you’d agree, but doesn’t suit a character like that.

Matt Hughes has used this as his entrance song a number of times in UFC also.

Also, Kevin Steens entrance Music - Drowning Pools "Tearaway" is a great theme, but is far better used for a heel than face. I think this was used as a promo track in WWE as well at some stage.

Brock lesnars theme was incredible as well.

Love that song. Always marked out hard when he or Hughes used it. Totally suitable as well.

Aries' "Personal Jesus " as well was great.

And CM Punk's "Miseria Cantare" by AFI was absolutely f*cking epic.

And Delerious' theme is savage, totally suits the character.

I've no doubt Jamie is serious about it, but I guess I meant from the point of view of using it in the WWE, might not be taken so serious then by a much wider audience, WWE can be particular about the direction they want a character to go and sometimes a unusual theme tune alters that intention.
Having said that, his character has been pretty tongue in cheek on occasion so why not!

Another one I just thought of from way back in the day was Rick Rude and Manny Fernandez using "We Will Rock You" when they were a team in the NWA in the 80's (Which is a good example of the point I’m trying to make above - don't think Rude would have achieve the same affect for his "Ravishing" gimmick in WWF if he'd used that music!)

i still find it funny how wwe continue to use bands that SOUND like rage against the machine but have yet to get a rage song....they had audioslave a few years ago but no rage, i mean the DX theme and HHH's "1,2 ..this on?" theme sound so like rage and swaggers theme is by the band "age against the machine" :pac:

The overall best theme they ever had was Kane's Slow Chemical i reckon though. Also really liked Kendrick's 'Man With A Plan' theme... In fact, I'll stop now, I'll only end up making a massive list

Triple H's old music my time, was great! so much better than the current one.

When he was hot as a heel that music used to be great. Check the footage of when he interrupted the Steph Test wedding- "is there anyone who objects to Test and Steph becoming man and wife, speak now or forever hold your peace"-

Then it hits,..........1......2.......is this on

The crowd was electric for that segment.

I like Randy Orton's theme, DX's one never really gets old. Mark Henry's one is pretty bad ass. And of course the ever obvious Undertaker. HBK's is always cool too.

My favourite new theme is Mark Henrys, best by a mile.

Always liked the Triple H ones so The Game, King Of Kings and Evolution I like.

Always a sucker for the DX one.

After that, CM Punk, Orton, Mark Henry, Evan Bourne and to a degree I like MVP's as well. Batista's isn't too bad either.

In no order, I like Edge's "On this day", Yoshi's "Pop J-Rock", yes it has a name, CM Punk's "This fire burns", Zach Ryders "Oooh Radio", Legacy's "A New Day", Matt Hardy's "Live for the Moment", Orton's "Voices" and Christian's " Just Close your Eyes".
