just finished watching a programme called alone in the wild where a camera man was dropped into the yukon in north america to try and survive alone with basic survival gear (rifle shotgun limited food )for approx 3 months . he lasted till day 50 and left after running out of food but what struck me was the emotional roller coaster he seemed to be on without other people to talk to /work with. so heres my question you've survived z day alone you have you basics a weapon some food somewhere reasonable safe could you cope with the loneliness and lack of human connact ?

Probably not, however I'd just try and get as much enjoyment as possible out of zombie slaying. And that's alot of enjoyment.

W/ Music I'd be fine, w/o I'd lose my mind. I could be on my own for ages, just so long as I had something to keep me preoccupied when I'm not busy :)

It would effect absolutely anybody. Knowing that there is survivors out there doesnt make it any easier to find them and ultimately trust them. A group has a lot more to offer a single person then a single person has to offer that group.

    I disagree with this...

what would a group of un armed survivors give one person who had access to a gun shop for instance?

Also you'll always find in groups those that do and those that don't. Those that dont are pretty much Z fodder. Whereas if you were to come across a Ninja he would have a lot to off a group.

I am not disagreeing that team work is necessary to survival but having siad that there is always a leader in a team, a gun nut or a medic as an example.

The same can be said of a group of men who come across a hot broody blonde who's willing to re populate the world.

I am a team player but I am quite happy with autonomy if the team i am in are inept and have no direction or quality.

Totally agree with your post, good post BTW.

There is some cases that a highly skilled/trained individual will survior better then a group of 3-4 who have just fleed and do not know what they are up against or have misunderstood the threat Z's can pose.

These will be the people that will let us more informed folk flee and setup or counter attack on Z day.:pac:
