    Are they good for loosing weight..

    The reason why i want is to loose weight and gain good upper muscle aswel.. ?

    I wouldnt think by themselves theyd be much use for weight loss but part of a circuit theyre ok.You definitely wont build muscle significantly as theres little resistance involved.

    Punch bags are a great exercise BUT the problem is because they are such a tough workout, you wont manage to do more than a few minutes which means your workouts will be too short.

    I suggest you incorporate into a circuit programme like another poster said.
