Connecting SKY cables

I need to connect two SKY cables together and I did a search and came across this thread on avforums:

It says that I need 1 of these:

F Connector Socket to Socket Coupler

and 2 of these:

Twist-On F Plugs
http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?ModuleNo=10447&C=54264

So firstly is this correct and there seems to be a few different F plugs depending on which cable you have. So does anyone know which one would be best for a standard lead going into a Sky box?

Any help would be appreciated. Some clown moved our Sky box for my mum and instead of running a proper cable he just taped two cables together and the signal is terrible. So I want to be able to connect both cables properly.

Thanks John but if the OP is just buying connectors the flate rate shipping would make them expensive.

Thanks for the reply. Just wondering exactly which Twist-On F Plug to get as Maplins sell them for the following cables:

CT100 F Plug
RG59 F Plug
CT125 F Plug
RG58 F Plug

Thanks lads. I have no signal at the moment so I'm hopeful of picking these up in Maplins today. Otherwise I'll definitely get them on Tony's site.
